We are able to provide both statutory audit and non-statutory services to any small company or local authority that may be required to have their accounts audited; for example, subsidiaries of overseas large companies or Town and Parish Councils.
As registered auditors, we are also able to provide the required Accountants’ Reports under the Solicitors Accounts Rules, or similar.

Our service includes personal, business, trust, and corporate taxation services, paying particular attention to advice and tax planning, including Estate matters, Capital Gains Tax and Inheritance Tax. We are readily able to produce personal, partnership, trust and company self-assessment tax returns with the use of our computerised system, and to file these with HM Revenue & Customs online.
All limited companies’ Accounts, Corporation Tax Returns and the accompanying computations are required to be submitted online to HMRC in iXBRL format. We are readily able to achieve that with the use of our software.
As part of our service, we prepare the necessary computations and calculate all liabilities for corporation tax, income tax, national insurance and capital gains tax for the purposes of those Tax Returns completed, and advise as regards to any potential payments that may or are expected to arise.
Taxation matters dealt with also cover PAYE, NIC, VAT, HMRC Enquiries and compliance reviews. In this regard, Clients of the practice are eligible to join our Tax Compliance Service at a reasonable cost which includes some financial assistance to meet the fees arising from any HMRC enquiry or dispute.
A General Anti-Abuse Rule has been in operation in the UK, which enables HM Revenue & Customs to further tackle abusive tax planning schemes. Due to the low probability of eventual success of such schemes and the high ethical standards of this firm, it is our policy not to advise on tax schemes that we consider to be artificial or aggressive in nature.
These services include the preparation and online submission of all in-year returns to HMRC for Real Time Information (RTI) purposes, and the required annual employer and employee Returns, and to submit these to HMRC online. Where necessary, we can also prepare the annual P11D forms required for directors’ and employees’ benefits and expenses.
We can prepare VAT Returns for clients using whichever method or scheme that is deemed to be the most appropriate to include the cash accounting scheme, the flat-rate scheme, and the annual accounting scheme, as well as dealing with those businesses that are partially exempt.

We are a leading provider of council training, advice and internal audit in and around Surrey and Sussex. We have extensive knowledge and experience with Local Authorities from the smallest parish council to the larger Town Councils. We also provide training and advice and work very closely with the Surrey and Sussex Association of Local Councils.
